Prioritizing the security and privacy of our recruits’ biometric and profile data is a foundational protocol. This Privacy Policy outlines the specific telemetry we ingest, how it is processed within our serverless cloud architecture, and your absolute rights over your records across our website, web application, and related services (collectively, the “Ecosystem”).

  • Account Information: When you register for The Mainframe, we collect your email address, username, and authentication metadata via our multi-provider corridors.
  • Google Health API v4 Telemetry: The Platform explicitly requests access to the restricted scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/googlehealth.activity_and_fitness.readonly. When authorized, we securely ingest specific user exercise data points, including: active heart rate (beats per minute), energy expenditure (calories burned), distance measurements (converted from millimeters to miles), and total step counts to calculate your dynamic progression.
  • Third-Party Fitness Streams: If you choose to connect alternative wearables (such as through the Fitbit or Strava API frameworks) to The Mainframe, we securely receive and store authorized workout durations and calorie deltas to track your level milestones.
  • Usage Data: We automatically collect standard diagnostic data when you visit our website, such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent on the site to maintain system stability.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data strictly to execute core application utilities:

  • Operating, maintaining, and rendering the core progression features of The Mainframe web app.
  • Syncing and displaying your authorized VR workout telemetry and health stats.
  • Calculating localized environmental factors by matching your current Zip Code to determine regional temperature parameters.
  • Communicating critical application updates, security alerts, and main core system notices.

3. Third-Party Services, Integrations, and Limited Use

Our Ecosystem relies on secure third-party platforms to function. We do not sell, rent, monetize, or share your fitness or biometric data with anyone—including third-party advertisers, brokers, or external corporate entities.

  • Google API User Data Policy Compliance: VR Fitness Journey’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
  • E-Commerce & Merchandise: Our official merchandise is hosted and processed through third-party platforms like Etsy and Printify. When you make a purchase, your payment and shipping information is handled directly by those secure systems.
  • Amazon Associates Program: VR Fitness Journey is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases when you click on our affiliate links. Amazon may use cookies to track these referrals.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies to keep you securely logged into The Mainframe, remember your interface preferences (such as temperature and measurement units), and track aggregate website analytics. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies, but doing so may limit your ability to initialize an uplink session with certain features of the app.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard encryption measures to protect your personal information and fitness telemetry from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. Deployed user profiles are isolated within encrypted Google Cloud Firestore database sectors protected by serverless gateway rules.

Health and fitness telemetry ingested via Google Health is retained only for as long as your user account remains active. Upon initiating an account wipe or disconnecting your Google integration, all synced health data is permanently purged from our databases immediately.

6. Your Data Rights & The Immediate Elimination Protocol

You possess complete sovereignty over your data stack. You have the right to access, update, or purge your personal information at any time. Inside your application profile settings dashboard, the Platform provides two native execution controls:

  • Account Disconnection: You can revoke Google Health, Fitbit, or Strava authorization handshakes at any second, immediately halting outbound API querying.
  • Wipe Local & Cloud Data: Clicking the “Wipe Data” command initiates a destructive script that completely and permanently deletes your user document, unlocked hex core counters, achievements, and entire telemetry history arrays across our entire cloud database architecture.
